Hello, I’m Haruto Watanabe, Editor-in-Chief.
otogibanashi is a web magazine that centers on Hiroshima, conveying the charm of its landscapes, people, and shops through photography and writing.

Rather than focusing only on what has long been cherished or only on what is newly emerging, we hope to present them together as they naturally coexist within the same town. Every place holds layers of time that have accumulated there, along with stories born from the lives of the people who inhabit it.
At otogibanashi, we value passing on each of these elements gently—like a fairy tale—into the future.

As we walk through various places in Hiroshima, we will gradually introduce the unique stories of each area, as well as the shops rooted there.
